Shalo Lee - Lead vocals
Known for her warm husky tone and incredibly powerful range, Shalo Lee does it all; country, rock and blues. Originally from rural WI, Shalo has been singing since her older sister taught h er to sing at 18 months. She continued to sing through high school and college winning repeated state honors for vocal performance, as well as sweeping top awards at regional and national talent competitions. She moved south in 2001, she regularly sang on the Mickey Gilley stage in Branson,, performing with acclaimed country singer/song writer Jim Owen. Since moving home, she has continued to sing, winning the 2003 Colgate Country Showdown at the regional level in La Crosse. She has fronted several bands; also sharing the stage with the likes of Hal Ketchum, The Marshall Tucker Band, Pure Prairie League, and Ambrosia. Her latest projects include writing, recording, and performing her first album as well as taking on the regional music scene with Rush River Band
Jeff Becker - Vocals and guitar
Jeff is the founding member of the MLC Band, now the Rush River Band. He grew up in a musical family in a small North Dakota town and sang with his brothers and sisters whenever he had a chance. He has performed professionally with several bands including: Breakheart Pass, The Dockside Express and Sand Creek. Jeff absolutely loves to play and sing, and has a loyal following of fans who love his captivating stage presence and high energy performances.
Bettina Villamil - Fiddle, Mandolin and Vocals
Bettina adds a whole new dimension to the Rush River Band. From blazing fiddle solos to sky high harmony. Combine all of that with great stage presence and an unmatched love of music, and you've got a great musician. She's played with some of the top groups in town and has recorded several CD's. She's always busy with music related projects and gigs including Lady Shania (Shania Twane tribute band), the High Strung String Band, The World According to Garth (Garth Brooks tribute band), and too many more to list. Once you hear her play, you'll understand why she's in high demand, and you'll love what she's added to the band.
Larry Revier - Lead guitar and vocals
Larry's playing has been influenced by a diverse musical spectrum since first being introduced to the guitar at age 14 by his brother - from rock to country to blues and jazz. Originally from Mankato, he's played professionally with numerous successful regional bands including: Heartbreak Pass, The Hand Picked Band, The Tourists, Plum Lazy and Trelys. Larry's passion for playing, singing and performing live is obvious from the moment he steps on stage.
Dave Feudner - Bass guitar and vocals
Dave has been playing professionally since the 70s. He has toured with several show bands including David Carroll & Paul New. Additionally, he's played with regional bands including: Half Mile Back, The Rosa Bolton Band, Wild Blue Catts, T. Albert Lloyd & the Kingpins, The Prairie River Band, Sweet Daddy's Roadhouse, and The Shadowcasters. Dave's experience and talent is obvious, and he brings a solid musical foundation to the group.
Aaron Clarksean - Drums and Percussion
Minnesota native Aaron is the latest addition to the Rush River Band. A classically trained percussionist, Aaron has performed in just about every musical situation and genre. While residing in Nashville, Aaron toured and recorded extensively with numerous pop, country, jazz, gospel and Indie bands and artists. Some of which included Greg Long, Nalalie Grant, Ben Glover, Lee Hester, and his band The Ups and Downs of Industry. Since moving back to Minnesota, Aaron has been active in the Twin Cities music scene, both as a session player, and performing live with Indie bands, orchestra's, big bands, small jazz ensembles, and various churches around the metro area. Aaron is known for his great feel, impeccable time, pocket, versatility and musicality.
